it would be lying to say that Molly was even remotely less than over the moon right now She'd been meaning to do this for ages, get the two of the together, but things simply had not lined up correctly.

Now though, as she organizes things a little more, she eagerly waits for both Bucky and Irene to show up. She's practically vibrating with the joy in being able to bring two of her people together and she's almost sure Irene will take to her boy the way she did.

She's waiting for one of them to show up first and hoping they'll get there soon. She made dinner and while it's not getting cold yet, she's fretting just a little that it will.

Not that either of them will judge her if it does, she just wants everything to be perfect.

Irene is a little excited herself, when she turns up on Molly's doorstep. Her girl does have the best taste, and it's always wonderful seeing Molly so excited over something, especially something like this.

She knocks on the door and doesn't bother waiting to be invited after Molly opens it, moving in to wrap an arm around her waist and give her a brief kiss. "Hello, darling. Is he here yet?"

She smiles wide, moving to embrace Irene and kiss her on the cheek. "Oh no, not yet! It's going to be wonderful though, it really will. It will be lovely and fantastic and he'll adore you, or at least tolerate you and I'm sure you'll find him absolutely charming!"

She might be bouncing a little. Just a little. Don't mind her.

The bouncing is adorable and Irene would never mind it. She moves the rest of the way into the house to close the door behind her, sliding off her coat to hang it up as she moves deeper in.

"I'm sure we'll all have a wonderful time," she agrees with a smile. "Do you need help getting anything ready, or is it all prepared?"

"Oh no," she says, pulling Irene into the kitchen. "I took care of everything! There's dinner and coffee if you'd like. I have wine but I wasn't certain what we'd be doing so I haven't opened it."

She can't stop smiling and the joy and excitement are radiating off of her. So she might be a little over enthused, she doesn't care. Its going to be absolutely wonderful and she's pleased as anything.
